Indiana is Closer Than Ever
to Becoming Smoke-free.

Smoking rates are at an all-time low and more Hoosiers are aware of the dangers of secondhand smoke. Cities such as Fort Wayne and Bloomington have smoke-free air laws that include bars and clubs. Delaware County has also gone smoke-free. Still, city leaders in Indianapolis continue to fumble and play political games on this issue. Indianapolis workers are still treated as second-class citizens and are not protected from secondhand smoke.
